Custom Wood front doors can have unparallelled beauty but they can be vulnerable to natural weather conditions and harsh environments because of the nature of wood. Our doors are much more durable than most manufacturers because they are made using Modern European Technology - EuroTechTM , but for those who would like a door with no maintenance and excellent protection, we recommend our aluminum shield technology.

Modern EuroTechTM (Euro Technology) is a unique construction method that provides for some of the most durable, stable, thermally efficient doors on the market. The sandwich design consists of stiles and rails made from solid European would, a thermal insulation board, and resilient layers of aluminum sheets and plywood, available in various wood veneers such as Mahogany. Put simply, our Euro Technology allows for your door to look better and last longer.
Aluminum Shield Front Doors are crafted with two key components: the wood veneer, and the aluminum clad shield. The wood veneer keeps the door light and elegant while the aluminum cladding protects it and gives the door a modern look. But our doors do not just look great, they are made with quality in mind. The aluminum shield is built to withstand the elements and last for a lifetime. For example, the Aluminum Shield technology is different from some other aluminum clad doors because our Shield never actually touches the wood veneer directly since doing so would interrupt vapor diffusion. On top of this, the Aluminum Shield Front Door line is equipped with modern european technology, which provides unparalleled insulation and thermal performance. The Aluminum Shield, wood veneer, and European technology are masterfully fused together to make the ultimate resistant and elegant door that will last a lifetime.
Through this unique solution to weather deterioration, we have developed a door that is not only resistant to the elements, but also forges its own look. The aluminum and wood blends together to make a unique aesthetic that cannot be easily replicated. Aluminum Shield Front Doors are very customizable, and an option exists for many different architectural styles.
At Glenview Doors, we go to great lengths to build our custom projects by the exact specifications of our customers. This featured custom door is an oversized wood pivot door covered with aluminum cladding on the exterior. This powerful modern door stands eight feet tall and an astonishing five feet wide. Achieving this impressive five foot width is quite the accomplishment, as it is a challenge that many companies fail to meet. On the outside, the exterior aluminum cladding protects the door from harsh weather conditions while maintaining its elegant design. This metallic layer of protection, when combined with our unique Euro Technology, creates a door with exceptional insulation and unprecedented thermal performance.
Revolving around a hinge that is slightly offset from that of a traditional door, the unique construction of this pivot door allows for a larger, wider, more intricate door that opens and closes with ease. Unlike most pivot doors, our Pivot Doors have superior insulative properties due to our double rabbeted jamb construction and multi-point lock system. These features, combined with the aluminum cladding and additional insulation installed at the top and bottom of the door, provide for greater security, stronger resistance to warping and cracking, and increased insulation.
This striking door offers many practical benefits but also serves as a testament to great design. The duality of the aluminum clad exterior and the finished wood interior creates a brilliant, eye-catching contrast perfect for any modern home.
Adhering to the highest standards, we exclusively use our own heavy duty ball bearing patina coated brass hinge with a steel pin. The weight of one hinge is 13 oz. Architecturally proportioned, this 4" straight angle distinctive design boasts the finest quality.
Fully hidden and adjustable, the concealed hinge does its job so well that you will only notice that it is there to admire the technology. We use only the finest concealed hinges from Tectus, a german brand that produces some of the highest quality hinges in the world.
Multipoint Lock Hardware has a variety of locking devices including Hooks, Roller, Roundbolts, Latch Bolts, Tongues, Shoobolts or a combination.
Our comprehensive range includes multi-point locks for timber, plastic or aluminium. Key-operated multi-point locks by KFV are locked by a double key turn. Two turns are also required for unlocking.
